Terminal Application of Pistol

When I decided to commit to this course my main goals were to gain confidence and competence in handling a gun. I came with very little experience, and some trauma I needed to work through from an experience with someone else mishandling a gun around me. Little did I know that by the end of the day I would be miles from where I started due to the knowledge and patience of the instructors. It was challenging for me, but I was supported and guided through all instructions and drills. I gained knowledge on gun safety and handling (properly) how to clear malfunctions, defending myself and loved ones etc., and I increased my confidence tremendously in handling a gun. I would highly recommend this course!

As a mom, I wanted to know how to use a gun, defensively, should the situation ever arise. However, after years of sporadic and limited practice, I knew I was still more of a liability than an asset. I hoped this course would be a good jumpstart to consistent training, but it was SO much MORE than that. Through clear instruction and lots and lots of reps, my classmates and I were prepared to face increasingly challenging scenarios. I finished the course feeling shockingly competent and legit. Now, as I go about my errands and life, I run through scenarios in my head, and I can calmly map out exactly what I would do to respond. I never dreamed I would gain that much knowledge and confidence from my first class. I am so excited to keep training and take more classes!!!

I highly recommend this pistol course! I came in with zero experience and was a bit nervous, but the instructors created a supportive, professional environment that quickly put me at ease. They covered everything from safety and basic handling to accuracy and building real confidence. What stood out most was how patient and knowledgeable the instructors were, they explained both the “how” and the “why,” which made learning much easier. The hands on training was well structured and built skills step by step without feeling overwhelming. By the end, I went from unsure to confident and capable. A great experience from start to finish, five stars!

The Terminal Application of Pistol course was a blast and increased my proficiency by a ton. Going in, I had general experience (target shooting, hunting, etc), but I was not properly prepared to defend myself or my family in a dangerous situation. This training completely changed that, giving me the experience and confidence I think is critical to be truly effective with a pistol. I recommend it for anyone who relies on a pistol for personal/home defense, especially those who carry daily.

This course was exactly what I needed to get beyond never feeling truly comfortable with a pistol. I took a CCW course a couple years ago and walked out thinking “I don’t really want to carry a gun”. I walked out of this course thinking not only do I want to carry, but I have the confidence and competence I should have to carry. We got SUCH good instruction tailored to each of our skill levels. I could see huge improvements in myself and the other guys there too. We got hundreds and hundreds of reps to build good technique with a bunch of different skills and tactics. The whole thing was rad. I highly recommend it!
