CARRY READY
8 Instructional Hours | 250 Rounds | Nevada CCW Certification
A permit is paperwork. Carrying a pistol is a responsibility.
Carry Ready is Terminal Outcomes' one-day Nevada concealed-carry course for the citizen who expects to do more than meet a requirement and put a card in a wallet.
Nevada requires you to learn the law, demonstrate knowledge, and prove basic proficiency with a handgun. Carry Ready does that. Then we put those requirements into the context that matters: the pistol you intend to carry, the decisions you make before it ever leaves the holster, and the fundamentals you will need if a bad day becomes a serious one. Nevada's required training includes handgun use and Nevada firearm law, with current NvSCA materials adding safety, ammunition, storage, shooting technique, deadly force, liability, confrontation avoidance, written testing, and live-fire qualification.
This is not eight hours built around waiting to shoot a qualification. The day combines legal responsibility, safe gun handling, marksmanship fundamentals, concealed-carry application, keeping the pistol functioning, intelligent use of cover and concealment, and judgment under controlled scenario pressure. The planned live-fire program is 250 rounds, including the official Nevada qualification.
The goal is not speed for its own sake. The goal is accountable performance: handling the pistol safely, producing reliable hits, solving ordinary equipment problems, understanding when force is and is not justified, and recognizing that sometimes the best outcome is the one in which the pistol never comes out.
You do not need to arrive as an expert. You do need to arrive with an open mind, a reliable handgun, and a commitment to safety. That tracks directly with Terminal Application of Pistol, which lists no prerequisite and welcomes all skill levels committed to safety.
